Formed in 2002, the volunteer board is comprised of 18-22 individuals from the community who have been identified for their outstanding professional or personal affiliations and accomplishments. Members advise the Dean on immediate goals and long-range planning as well as serve as advocates for the school within their communities. Membership is for a three-year term.
Each of the individuals brings a unique background and perspectives to the board. Their input and insights are extremely valuable to the school’s leadership as they plan for Herron’s future.
In addition to attending meetings throughout the year, board members are expected to attend events, introduce new individuals to the school and support the John Herron Society—the school’s leadership giving group which provides for new initiatives and the school’s greatest needs.
