Students in the Foundation Studies Program have classes in well-equipped studio classrooms. Two-Dimensional Design and Color Concepts classrooms provide color correct lighting, ventilation, drawing tables, pneumatic drawing chairs, storage space, stainless steel sinks and generous critique space. Faculty use the two chalkboards for lecture notes and use the projection screen for digital classroom presentations.
The beginning drawing studios have a sophisticated lighting system for enhancing both still life and model observation study. Large model stands, adjustable easels and drawing benches provide freshmen students with advanced level facilities.
Three-Dimensional Design classrooms are spacious with wide tables and generous storage space for 3-D projects. Students have access to a state-of-the-art wood shop. There are designated shop assistants that provide training on woodworking equipment and important safety procedures. An accessory spray booth is also provided for student use.
