Arabic Calligraphy is a centuries old communication and art form that is both beautiful and useful. If you have ever wanted to know more about, or wanted to learn how to create, Arabic Calligraphy here is your opportunity. Herron School of Art and Design will offer Arabic Calligraphy (HER-E 220 30641) on Mondays & Wednesdays, 12:30-3:00 during the Spring 2012 semester.
This class is open to all IUPUI students. Herron is one of a very small number of colleges offering this course in the United States. It is being taught by Abdalla Ali, Ph.D., who has studied and taught in Saudi Arabia. This is a rare opportunity for students to learn this skill.
