On the occasion of the 120th birthday of Aleksandr Rodchenko, the great Russian artist, graphic designer and photographer, 20 of the best current Russian poster artists got together in a project Rodchenko 120 to design a poster in his memory. The posters were shown in an exhibition in Moscow as part of "Moscow Design Week" and are all in Sergei Serov's blog on "Livejournal". As Serov writes "The posters are not only a tribute to the great artist, but a reflection on the historical destiny of graphic design".

The biennial Faculty Show will kick off the fall gallery season at Herron School of Art and Design. This year’s exhibition promises to be eclectic, with 35 faculty members exhibiting from departments including art history, ceramics, furniture design, painting and drawing, photography and intermedia, printmaking, sculpture and visual communication design.
