Lesley Baker, Declaration, recycled serving dish with decal applied, then masked and sandblasted

November 1 - 30, 2012

Ann Linnemann Studio Gallery

Reception:

October 29, 2012

Assistant Professor Lesley Baker will be participating in a group show curated by Paul Scott.

Scott is an artist best known for his research into ceramics and print. He creates individual pieces that are exacting and critical, blurring the boundaries between fine art and design. In the twenty years since the first edition of Paul Scott's handbook Ceramics and Print appeared, printed surfaces have become commonplace in contemporary practice. To co-incide with the imminent publication of a completely new edition of the book, this exhibition on narratives in ceramic print will involve leading international figures in the field.

While in Denmark, Baker will be attending a ceramics and print seminar at the Guldagergaard International Ceramics Research Center in Skaelskor, Denmark.
