Eleanor Prest Reese and Robert B. Berkshire Galleries

The Eleanor Prest Reese and The Robert B. Berkshire Galleries are the largest of the exhibition spaces and focus primarily on the presentation the work of nationally and internationally prominent members of the art and design fields. These Galleries continue the reputation of the first Herron Galley, established in 1979, as among the cities most distinct and important exhibition spaces.

Mission statement

The Eleanor Prest Reese and Robert B. Berkshire Galleries complement and complete the educational goals of the Herron School of Art and Design. To fulfill this mission, these galleries serve as a community and regional forum for the evolving discussion of contemporary art and culture. Visitors to this non-profit, visual art gallery are exposed to works of art and design created by international, national and local artists and designers. Exhibitions have included artwork by notable artists including Karl Wirsum, Robert Rauschenberg, Ed Paschke, Darryl Pottorf, Cynthia Pachikara, Bill Peet, Ursula von Rydingsvard, Diane Simpson, Don Gummer, Robert Lostutter, and even rocker John Mellencamp.
