MFA Application
A set of complete application materials must be received at Herron on or before January 15. Admitted students enter the program in the fall semester only.

Financial Aid
If you are an Indiana resident, in order to be considered for state aid you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 10. The final deadline for all FAFSA applications is June 30. You do not have to be accepted to the MFA program prior to submitting the FAFSA. You may complete a FAFSA application at www.fafsa.ed.gov. When completing the FAFSA, please use the school code for “Indiana Univ-Purdue Univ Indpls” when prompted. Please see the financial assistance page for more information about financial aid and award packages.

On-Campus Housing
If you are interested in applying for on-campus housing, please be aware that availability is limited. Therefore, it is best to apply for housing very early in the spring semester if not sooner. For the on-campus housing application and a description of options, please go to www.housing.iupui.edu. You may apply for housing prior to being offered admission to the MFA program.

Admission Decisions
Applicants will be notified of their admission status in early March.
