About

Lauren Daugherty joined Herron School of Art + Design in 2023 as internship coordinator and full-time faculty member. She has experience providing art therapy in art museums where she combines art therapy practices with art history and art education principles to promote mental health and wellbeing. Daugherty has a private practice in Greenwood where she provides art therapy and mental health counseling to women experiencing neonatal, infant, or child loss, infertility, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
